I drew our friend Jason in celebration of his magic, power, and radiant beauty! May the medicine and strength of the jaguar always walk beside you, friend.

Jason’s presence in my life has changed the course of my last couple. I currently live in a half dome home // half cabin he built. A total passion project.. the staircase is basically a full on tree.. sticks and wood from the land here.

He’s an awe inspiring artist, a sweet friend, a silly good time goober, and smooshy loving human. <3

You are looking at two watercolor paintings, digitally scanned and collaged together. I added the sharper details (like the jaguar spots and lines on Jason’s face) digitally.

I told him back in July i was making him something for his birthday. It has been on my to-do list since. Happy Birthday, Jason! :P

THIS IS SO FUN AND SO MUCH WORK

I really am proud of this project it has been a real effort to lift it off the ground. I can’t wait to see where it takes me as it asks me to commit to my art and produce, create, share regularly.
